What's a farm without an old truck, farm equipment and hayrides? Willow Pond Farmstead has them all. We often feature these in parades and hayrides.
Our "Lizzie" is a 1926 Model T Ford Roadster pickup that we completely rebuilt from a rusted hulk during the Winter of 2000. Now, like everything out here, she's a working part of our living museum.
Hayrides are an especially good way to introduce groups to parts of the farm it's often difficult for them to visit otherwise. For instance, a hayride through a herd of grazing cattle often gives a closer view of the animals than you ever could get on foot.
