Families looking for a place to gather need look no farther than Willow Pond Farmstead.
Its bucolic setting belies its easy access from either I-95 or I-40. Greyhound has regular service to Dunn (8 miles away); Raleigh-Durham International Airport is only 50 minutes away, and Amtrak serves nearby Selma, Pinehurst, Raleigh and Cary. Family members from all over the country will appreciate your easy-to-find reunion site. And, while we are a working farm, most of the property is completely handicap-accessible.
Once here, golfers will enjoy nearby Keith Hills Country Club. Canoers can test their skills on the gentle rapids of the Cape Fear River. History buffs can visit the nearby (and unspoiled) Civil War battlefield of Averasboro. And everyone can enjoy fishing in our farm's well-stocked ponds.
We have two buildings that each serve more than 70 diners, and tents affording even larger shelter are available from local rental companies. Of course, there are several sites suitable for outdoor picnics.
Contract Terms and Rates
Our family reunion rate is $1,000 per day and includes complete use of the property.

from noon to 11:00pm the day before the reunion for set-up and decoration ;

from 7:00am to 9:00pm on the day of the reunion; and,
-
from 9:00pm to 11:00pm immediately after the reunion for breakdown and clean-up.
The fee also includes your optional use of the Farmstead’s tractor and haywagon (seats 12 per trip) and our 1926 Model T (with driver) for short rides on the property. Fishing is permitted on all three of our stocked ponds — and your family members may keep the fish they catch.
You must either bring or provide for a certified lifeguard if you wish to use the paddleboats during your stay.
